About Evangelos

Evangelos was born in Greece and studied Painting and Engraving at Athens School of Fine Arts and additionally obtained his Master's degree in Painting. Since 2015, Evangelos lives and works as an artist and art teacher in The Hague, The Netherlands. He now shares his time between his studio in Athens and in The Hague.

As Evangelos says, he finds his inspiration for his art in the human behavior 'in all its weaknesses' and in 'the human inability to serve a higher purpose in life'. Besides the human animal, Evangelos is also inspired by other animals to create his astonishing work.
